Full-time carpenter required for reactive maintenance contract working throughout Hampshire and dealing with the public.
Essential Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2
- Driver’s License
- CSCS Card
Desirable Requirements:
In house training provided:

- Asbestos Awareness
- Manual Handling
- Working at Height
Specification and Responsibilities:
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows
- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
- Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools
- Measure, cut or shape wood, plastic and other materials using hand tools, machines or power tools
- Locate and order required materials
- Follow drawing and specifications to meet the needs of clients
- Follow health and safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
- Emergency repairs
- Complete Daywork Sheets on tablets, providing actions and written progress report
- Ad hoc tasks

Plumber
Full-time plumber required for reactive maintenance contract working throughout Hampshire and dealing with the public.

Specification and Responsibilities:
- Interpret building plans and specifications to map layout of pipes, drainage systems and other plumbing materials
- Follow health and safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
- Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks
- Assemble pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing and welding equipment
- Locate and mark the position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, and fixtures in structures, using measuring instruments such as rulers and levels
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angle, using hand and power tools
- Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers and water heaters, and fixtures such as sinks and toilets, using hand and power tools
- Repair and maintain plumbing, replacing defective washers, replacing or mending broken pipes, and opening clogged drains
- Emergency repairs
- Locate and order required materials
- Complete Daywork Sheets on tablets, providing actions and written progress report
- Contribute to the continual improvement and participation in the IMS
- Ad hoc tasks
