Crofton Secondary School, Fareham
Crofton is a large foundation school for 11-16 year olds serving around 1000 students from Stubbington and Fareham. The school required a complete refurbishment of its pupil toilets.
School toilets are often the cause of several issues for site teams and caretaking staff including vandalism, presence of asbestos and dated systems failing regularly.
Crofton School made the move to install a new concealed paneling system into its pupil toilets. The works undertaken involved the complete strip out of the existing toilets, basins, pipe work, cubicles, asbestos tiles, and ceilings. New pipe work and electrical installations were necessary followed by the installation of the concealed wall paneling system, sealed cisterns and basins and associated accessories. New suspended ceilings were fitted and cove-formed vinyl flooring was laid.
Tew Brothers have over forty year’s experience of working on schools and colleges. These works were carried out during normal school times and did not affect the running of the school or compromise the health and safety of the school users.
We are very pleased with both the specialist paneling system used and the efficient and professional service Tew Brothers have delivered in a working school environment. Thanks to this system we have had no vandalism or graffiti in these toilet areas.
